ClinEcho is a curated medical article briefing app for doctors and professional healthcare providers. It provides AI-assisted summaries of preselected medical articles and audio tracks of those summaries.
1. Scope of ClinEcho
ClinEcho works like a curated medical journal. Articles are preselected by ClinEcho and are based on sources licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Users do not upload medical articles, URLs, files, prompts, patient cases, or other clinical content to ClinEcho.
2. Provider, Controller, and Contact

3. Information We Collect
ClinEcho does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, professional license number, patient data, or clinical case information.
To provide the app and personalize the experience, ClinEcho may collect pseudonymous app activity linked to a random app or device identifier. This activity may include:
- articles viewed, opened, saved, marked as read, or marked as listened;
- audio listening progress and playback interactions;
- content preferences, app settings, and personalization choices;
- feature usage, session activity, and basic technical events needed to keep the app reliable.
This information is not intended to directly identify you. Because it may be linked to a device or app identifier, we treat it as pseudonymous activity data and aggregate or anonymize it where possible.
4. How We Use Information
We use pseudonymous app activity only for purposes related to ClinEcho, including:
- providing core app functionality, such as saved items and listening progress;
- personalizing article and audio recommendations within ClinEcho;
- understanding which content is useful to healthcare professionals;
- improving summaries, audio experiences, reliability, and product quality;
- detecting technical problems and protecting the app against misuse.
5. AI Summaries and Audio
ClinEcho uses specialized AI tools to create summaries and audio tracks from preselected medical articles. Because users do not submit patient data, clinical cases, or article files, ClinEcho is not designed to process patient information or user-submitted medical content.
6. No Advertising or Sale of Data
We do not sell user data, use app activity for advertising, track users across apps or websites, or share user activity with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Service Providers and App Stores
We may use technical service providers only as needed to operate, maintain, host, secure, or improve ClinEcho. These providers may process information on our behalf and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
If you download ClinEcho through an app store, the app store provider may process information independently under its own privacy policy and account terms. We do not control the privacy practices of app store providers.
8. Retention
We keep pseudonymous app activity only for as long as needed to provide ClinEcho, personalize the app, understand product usage, maintain security, and meet legal or operational requirements. Aggregated or anonymized information may be kept for longer because it no longer identifies a specific user or device.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can stop ClinEcho from collecting new app activity by uninstalling the app. Depending on your device and app settings, you may also be able to reset or limit device identifiers or app permissions.

Because ClinEcho does not use accounts and activity is pseudonymous, we may need information from you to verify whether we can identify data related to your device. ClinEcho is intended for doctors and professional healthcare providers. It is not designed for children and is not directed to users under the age required to use professional medical information services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
